WellFest Comes to Belfast in 2026 with Star-Studded Line-Up

Ireland and Europe’s biggest outdoor fitness and wellness festival, WellFest, is expanding to Belfast! The brand-new weekend festival will take place at Ormeau Park in September 2026, bringing the full WellFest experience to Northern Irish audiences for the first time.

Leading the line-up are Maeve Madden from Newry and Olympic & world champion gymnast Rhys McClenaghan from Newtownards, adding high-energy sports to the festival stage. They’ll be joined by Owen O’Kane, Belfast-born therapist to Lewis Capaldi, Dr Rebekah Jade, yoga and breathwork expert, and Paralympic gold medallist Ellen Keane, showcasing homegrown talent at the heart of WellFest NI.

WELLFEST IS FOR EVERYBODY. No matter who you are or how you like to move - you belong at WellFest!

Sarah King, proud member of the WellFest team, said:

"As a Belfast native, launching WellFest in the city with such a strong first wave line-up of local heroes feels incredibly special. These voices represent the strength, inclusivity and energy of our wellness community here in Northern Ireland. With international headliners to follow in 2026, this first-look announcement is all about celebrating homegrown talent, showcasing the breadth of the festival programming, from yoga and fitness to inspiring talks, family activities and more. We’re inviting everyone to be part of a landmark year for WellFest."

Other confirmed local talent includes Glenn Wilkinson, Kathryn McKinstry, Cáoileánn Conway, Carla McGreevy, Finlay Thomas Wilson, Vanessa Ogbonna, and House of Voga, with more names to follow.

The Belfast festival follows WellFest’s flagship two-day event in Dublin and marks the festival’s 10-year anniversary.
