We were invited on board the Regent Seven Seas Grandeur for an exclusive day visit in Belfast on 16th June. The ship visited Belfast as it sails its maiden Northern European season and first time around the UK.
Launched in November 2023 it’s the newest in the fleet and the third ship in the Explorer Class. Grandeur boasts stylish, all-suite accommodations and an all-inclusive experience for its 750 guests. Guests can enjoy unlimited excursions, an extensive drinks menu, speciality dining and WiFi included in the fare. Grandeur is spending the summer season cruising Northern Europe and will be back in Belfast a few more times before heading into the Mediterranean in the Autumn.
Regent is the world’s most luxurious cruising brand and their ships in the ultra luxury cruise class are stunning. The Grandeur is beautiful on board and unlike anything we have seen before. The main dining room is a work of art, it’s designed to look and feel like you’re sitting in an enchanted forest under crystal and light edged ‘trees’.
An unrivalled art collection
The 1,600-piece art collection on Grandeur is worth millions of pounds and includes three Picassos in their Prime7 speciality restaurant, a 40-Foot-Tall Hand-woven Tapestry in the foyer, the first Fabergé Egg to reside permanently at sea and a bronze and pink glass cherry blossom tree at the entrance to the Pacific Rim restaurant.
The Regent Seven Seas Grandeur is truly something special and it’s a pleasure to welcome it to Belfast a number of times this summer.
A new class
In 2026 Regent will launch Seven Seas Prestige, their first new ship class in 10 years. On board the Skyview Regent Suite will be the most opulent address at sea - at 9,000 square feet and starting at £20,000 per night, the suite accommodates up to six guests and features over 3,500 square feet of wrap around balcony.
