Eleanor Parr: Irish Craft Meets Family Heritage

Rooted in Irish tradition and personal memory, Eleanor Parr is a collection inspired by craft, family, and the value of things well made. The name brings together my parents’ middle names, chosen in their honour; they would have been so proud to see this collection come to life.

The collection begins with beautifully made 100% wool socks, inspired by the practical knitwear once worn in Irish homes and workshops. Designed for warmth and durability, they reflect a time when clothing was created to last, to be mended, and to be lived in.

Wool has long been part of Ireland’s story; spun, knitted, and worn across generations. These socks honour that heritage, combining natural comfort with a simple, timeless design that feels as relevant today as it did years ago.

Available at the Belfast Times stall in St George’s Market every Saturday and Sunday, Eleanor Parr invites you to take home a piece rooted in Irish craft and made with care.
