This W5 Late is back on 19th May and this time the adults only night will be celebrating the creativity, imagination and skill of local cosplayers. Don your favourite costume and check out what you can get up to below:
- Cosplay Character Meet and Greet
Now is your chance to meet some of your favourite heroes, villains and princesses. There’ll be plenty of photo opportunities throughout the night. Don't forget to share your photos with us using #W5Late.
- Meet Dracignis
Ever wanted to meet a dragon? Are you brave enough to come face-to-face with this mythical creature? This W5 Late, get up close and personal with Dracignis, just one of the many dragons that is getting ready to descend upon W5 this summer.
- Dragon Mask Making
Put your papercraft skills to the test and create your very own dragon mask.
- Face Painting
Don’t have a cosplay costume? Don’t worry as they will have very talented face painters on hand to transform you into your favourite fantasy character.
- Cosplaying talks with the experts
Learn from some of the best in the world of cosplay with a series of themed talks in W5’s lecture theatre throughout the evening.
Adults Only
W5 Late is a strictly adults-only, after-hours evening of interactive fun at Northern Ireland's award-winning science and discovery centre. At W5, fun has no age limit but for one night only, there are no kids allowed and grown-ups are given the run of the place!
Now is your chance to explore over 250 hands-on exhibits with not a child in sight. Scale the heights of Climbit, try your hand at TV production, walk through the vortex, climb aboard a pirate ship and so much more!
Plus, their fully licensed bar will also be open where you can enjoy a cold glass of beer or wine after an evening of adventure.
Admission is £15 per person (plus booking fees.)
