Last Chance to Stuff a Bus

Last Chance to Stuff a Bus

Translink and FareShare NI are gearing up for the final days of this year’s Stuff a Bus campaign; and with Christmas just around the corner, they’re making a last heartfelt appeal for support to help reach their goal of 30,000 meals.

This year, the campaign hit the road with a regional collection roadshow, stopping at key transport hubs across Northern Ireland, including the North West Transport Hub in Derry~Londonderry, Newry Bus Station, and finishing at Belfast Grand Central Station.

Thanks to incredible generosity from schools, communities, and workplaces, including 1.5 tonnes of food from Methodist College Belfast and a £2,000 donation from Kainos, the campaign is closer than ever to its target. Now, Translink and FareShare NI are urging the public to help them cross the finish line by donating at one of the final collection days:

  • North West Transport Hub – Tuesday 16th December
  • Newry Bus Station – Wednesday 17th December
  • Belfast Grand Central Station – Thursday 18th December

Donations of long-life food or monetary support of any amount will make a meaningful difference. Every item helps FareShare NI provide essential supplies to local foodbanks, community groups, and charities supporting families facing hunger this Christmas.

With one in six people in Northern Ireland facing food insecurity, the need has never been greater. The final collection day at Belfast Grand Central Station is the last chance to donate before the campaign closes.

Together, we can make this Christmas brighter for thousands of families.
