Explore your Creative Side at Arts Night at the Museum

North Down Museum, in Bangor, will throw open its doors to artists and art lovers on Friday 31 March for the ever-popular Arts Night at the Museum event.

The special event will give visitors the opportunity to experience a whole range of art activities – expect everything from screen printing to clay work, sketching to jewellery making, painting, and more!

Watch the artists at work or have a go yourself, guided by professionals. This free event is an excellent opportunity for people of all ages to get creative.

The historic museum building will be filled with art to experience, participate in or observe at this fun, relaxed event for the whole family. Ignite your creativity as you explore the museum and its galleries.

Ards and North Down Borough Council’s Arts Officer, Patricia Hamilton, said:

‘I love Arts Night at the Museum because it offers everyone the opportunity to try their hand at creating something in a relaxed atmosphere. They might even discover they have a new talent.’

Admission is free and for all activities. The museum’s café, Coffee Cure will be open on the evening serving light meals, snacks and beverages. There will also be live music in the café throughout the evening.  The event runs from 6pm to 9pm.
