Pumpkin Patches and Goulish Gatherings

Antrim and Newtownabbey Borough Council is brewing up a Halloween celebration for all the family. This year, the freaky-festivities will cobweb across the Borough, with the most ghoulish gatherings at Mossley Mill’s ‘Pumpkin Patch’ and ‘Screams and Tricks at V36,’ Newtownabbey, plus a wide variety of Halloween events at The Junction Retail and Leisure Park, Antrim.

Book your tickets now for the Halloween highlight event, ‘Spooked Out’ at V36 on Saturday 26 October from 6pm with a not-to-be-missed dazzling firework display at 8pm. Tickets are free, there is a £2.50 booking charge that supports the Mayor’s charities and can be booked via the Council’s website. Get your best costume ready because the Mayor will be there to judge the fancy dress competition!

Mossley Mill will host its first-ever Pumpkin Patch from Saturday 26 – Wednesday 30 October. Children can explore the hay bale maze to find the perfect pumpkin and then carve it into their very own Halloween masterpiece. Broomsticks at the ready - make sure to book your spot in advance!

The most eerie events will take place in Newtownabbey with ‘Screams and Tricks at V36’ from Friday 25 to Sunday 3 November, featuring creepy carnival rides and eerrie amusements.

Over in Antrim you will find equally entertaining events, ‘Halloween at The Junction’ offering a frightful funfair from Friday 25 October to Sunday 3 November, a country and western market and live music from a Taylor Swift tribute act on Sunday 3 November. Plus, don’t miss the Hocus Pocus Special from Friday 25 to Sunday 27 October.

Mayor of Antrim and Newtownabbey, Councillor Neil Kelly commented, “Halloween is always a fantastic time of year for our community to have a great time together! This year’s events promise to be truly spooktacular for families across our Borough.”
