3 Luxurious Winter Cocktails you must try

Winter is the perfect time for warmer, richer flavours and making indulgent choices. If you’re in search of recipes to make for a date night, to impress guests or even just to enjoy on a night in when it’s cold outside, then having some go-to winter cocktail recipes in your repertoire is a must.

So, here are 3 indulgent cocktails to make at home to celebrate the festive season with friends and family.

BAILEYS HOT CHOCOLATE

INGREDIENTS

 

  • 50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • 2tsp Hot Chocolate Powder
  • 200ml Whole Milk
  • Marshmallows
  • Whipped cream
  • Sprinkles or chocolate shavings (optional)
PREPARATION
  • Heat the milk then add the hot chocolate powder to make a hot chocolate.
  • Pour into your favourite mug.
  • Make it magnificent – Add the Baileys.
  • Add a dollop of whipped cream, marshmallow and top with chocolate shavings or sprinkles.

ROE&CO IRISH COFFEE

INGREDIENTS

 

  • 40ml Roe & Co
  • 75ml hot coffee
  • 1 tsp demerara sugar
  • Whipped double cream
  • Grated nutmeg
PREPARATION

 

  • Add all ingredients (apart from cream) to an Irish coffee glass and stir to dissolve sugar.
  • Top with a dollop of double whipped cream.
  • Sprinkle the grated nutmeg.
  • Feeling indulgent? Whip your cream with 5ml of maple syrup and a drop of vanilla essence.

BAILEYS FLAT WHITE MARTINI

INGREDIENTS

 

  • 50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream
  • 25ml espresso
  • 25ml Smirnoff vodka
  • A few ice cubes
  • 3 coffee beans to decorate
PREPARATION

 

  • Pop all the ingredients apart from the coffee beans in a cocktail shaker.
  • Shake it up until everything is blended and the liquid is smooth as silk.
  • Strain into a martini cocktail glass and garnish with the three coffee beans.
