This festive season, Candlelight®, the globally acclaimed series of live, multi-sensory concerts by Fever, will illuminate Belfast Cathedral (the Cathedral Church of St Anne) with thousands of flickering candles for an unforgettable night of Christmas classics. Audiences will be treated to timeless carols and festive melodies performed by a talented local string quartet, all set within one of the city’s most atmospheric venues.
Created to make music more accessible, Candlelight brings performances to extraordinary spaces beyond traditional concert halls, pairing beautiful venues with intimate, candlelit ambiance. Its diverse programmes span beloved classical composers like Vivaldi, Mozart and Beethoven, through to contemporary icons such as Queen, Coldplay and Ed Sheeran, along with jazz, soul, pop and film soundtracks. The series also includes special editions inspired by much-loved films and shows, including Bridgerton (in partnership with Netflix and Shondaland) and The Wizard of Oz with Warner Bros.
