A Traditional Easter at Ulster Folk Museum

A Traditional Easter at Ulster Folk Museum

Experience a traditional 1900s Easter at the Ulster Folk Museum. You'll get to know what typical celebrations would have looked like in rural Ulster and how some of these traditions live on to this day!

Learn about the origins of the Easter Egg, take part in traditional games and have a go at themed craft demonstrations. Talented makers will also be demonstrating their skills throughout the museum over the weekend, keeping heritage skills alive.

Join Anann’s Arch on Easter Monday for a workshop making Spring faeries from natural materials. The whole family can get involved in foraging for materials on the grounds of the museum to make your faeries, then choose somewhere in the museum as their new home or bring them home.

Easter Sunday, Easter Monday & Tuesday (9th, 10th, 11th April)

Time: 10am-5pm
