Only Fools and Horses has arrived at the Grand Opera House this week.
If you’re a fan of the TV series this is a massive trip down memory lane. You’ll love all the references to the series, and you’ll adore seeing all the characters with their quirks and mannerisms.
And it works well as a musical.. great tunes and super vocals. We could listen to Georgina Hagen (Raquel) all night and the same for Gloria Acquaah-Harrison (Mrs Obooko). It was a treat to see Paul Whitehouse on stage, an iconic actor, performer and writer. Sam Lupton as Del Boy, portrayed the character perfectly and had many cheeky little interactions with the audience. Tom Major was just adorable as Rodney, and what a professional debut for him.
The musical brings to life your favourite moments from the 80’s and you’ll leave on a high and nostalgic about this legendary TV series you grew up watching.
