70 minutes of mesmerising music and dance in 3 works created by three different choreographers. Starting dark and harsh, Invocation by Mufutau Yusuf delves into past traumas, tension and brokenness and the potential for healing through movement. Moving into a red energy, Constellations by Liz Roche invites the audience to explore energy and its constant reshaping through interaction.
The finishing works is a full white experience. I Contain Multitudes by Guy Nader and Maria Campos is like a bubbling brook full of ebbs and flows with continuous movement as the dancers start slowly moving in disconnected circles before starting to interact and connect beautifully.
Chora is a strong start for Luail and I’m looking forward to seeing what they can do in future.
Their next stop is Cork Opera House on 28 May!
