Internationally acclaimed author Tony Macaulay is excited for the nostalgia of the upcoming musical adaptation of his memoir, "All Growed Up," the third book in his series following "Paperboy" and "Breadboy." The British Youth Music Theatre will stage the production at the Lyric Theatre from August 2-4, 2024.
Similar to the musical productions of Tony’s previous memories, expect to be transported back in time to Northern Ireland - but this time, it’s the 80s. Step back in time through music, fashion and 17 year old Tony’s memories of Hai Karate, Paul Young, mullets and his Ulster University years!
We’ve read all three of Tony’s book series and loved them. Fantastic memories triggered of growing up in the 70’s and 80’s. You can picture yourself in his life and we have high hopes that this musical adaptation of the third book in the series will have us reminiscing about 80’s music.
