Wednesday 15 April marks 114 years since the sinking of RMS Titanic, a tragedy that remains closely tied to Belfast’s story and identity.
An annual Service of Remembrance will take place in the Titanic Memorial Garden at Belfast City Hall, offering a moment of reflection in the heart of the city. The 12 noon service will be attended by the Lord Mayor of Belfast, Councillor Tracy Kelly, alongside members of the Belfast Titanic Society.
Set among the memorial statues and the names of those who lost their lives, the gathering provides a quiet and respectful space to remember the events of April 1912 and those connected to them.
Members of the public are warmly invited to attend and pay their respects.
