A new horror trail is coming to Belfast this Halloween

Belfast city centre is preparing for a Halloween takeover, with nine giant monsters, more than 1,000 pumpkins and a brand new paranormal Horror Trail.

New for 2026, the Horror Trail takes place on Saturday 31 October, inviting adults to explore the city centre while listening to spooky stories and watching out for unexpected encounters along the way.

From 26 October, nine giant monsters will appear across Belfast, from the Fountain Bar to CastleCourt. Visitors can follow a downloadable map to track down familiar favourites including Mr Snappy, Goofy Eyes and Grim Fingers.

Belfast City Hall will also welcome the return of Pumpkin Patch Madness on 30 and 31 October, with more than 1,000 pumpkins available for families to pick.

At 2 Royal Avenue, Halloween activities will include pumpkin decorating workshops, immersive storytelling, face painting and a spooky disco.

The programme is organised by Belfast One, with funding from Belfast City Council.
