Belfast Spring Fair Returns With Wonderland Theme

This April, the city’s annual Spring Fair returns with a new theme, inviting visitors to step into a Wonderland inspired weekend at Malone House and Barnett Demesne.

Taking place on Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 April 2026, from 1.30pm to 5.30pm each day, the free event brings together music, nature and family friendly activity in one of the city’s most scenic settings.

This year’s Down the Rabbit Hole theme draws on the world of Alice in Wonderland, with curious characters, playful installations and a sense of imagination running throughout the grounds.

Across the weekend, there will be a wide mix of things to explore. A Spring Flower Show sits at the centre, alongside live music and performances, circus skills workshops, floral art displays and a dedicated sports zone. Farmyard animals, food vendors and craft stalls add to the atmosphere, creating something that feels both relaxed and lively.

Set against the backdrop of Malone House, the event leans into the setting itself, with gardens and green space shaping the experience as much as the programme.

Access is designed to keep things moving. There is no parking at the site, but a free park and ride service will run from Sir Thomas and Lady Dixon Park, with buses beginning at 1pm and returning until 5.45pm. Public transport options are also available from the city centre via Translink Metro services.

Belfast Spring Fair continues to be one of the city’s most accessible events. Open, free and easy to drop into, it offers a simple way to mark the arrival of spring.
