Black Sheep Coffee is doubling down on one of this year’s biggest drinks trends with the launch of new flavoured Cold Foam options across its stores this summer.
Following the successful introduction of its original Cold Foam range earlier this year, the coffee chain is expanding the category with the arrival of Matcha Cold Foam and Strawberry Cold Foam, available in both dairy and oat varieties.
Designed to be added to iced coffees, matcha drinks and other cold beverages, the new flavours give customers even more ways to customise their favourite orders as warmer weather arrives.
Among the latest additions is an upgraded version of Black Sheep Coffee’s popular Iced Strawberries & Cream Matcha Latte. The drink now features a creamy Strawberry Cold Foam topping, creating an extra layer of sweetness and texture.
The brand is also introducing The Matcha Cloud, a new summer drink that combines coconut water with ceremonial grade Japanese matcha cold foam. Served over ice, the drink offers a lighter alternative to traditional iced coffees and lemonades, while tapping into growing demand for matcha based beverages.
Customers will also be able to add Matcha Cold Foam to any cold drink on the menu, opening up new combinations such as iced americanos topped with matcha foam.
Alongside the Cold Foam expansion, Black Sheep Coffee is entering the smoothie category with the launch of its first ever Açaí Smoothie.
Inspired by Los Angeles smoothie culture, the new drink blends antioxidant rich açaí with strawberries, banana and coconut water, before being finished with coconut cream for a smooth, indulgent texture.
The launch reflects the continued growth of wellness focused drinks across the coffee shop sector, with consumers increasingly seeking beverages that combine flavour, functionality and visual appeal.
